Looked After Children with SEND

We have a Designated Teacher for Looked after Children, Michael Hunter – Deputy Headteacher and SENCO, who works to ensure all teachers in school understand the implications for those children who are looked after and have SEN.

Pupils who are looked after have regular PEPs in addition to the annual review of their EHCP and the termly PAMs. The PEP usually involves the pupil, the Deputy Head, the Social Worker, Carer and LA SEN Caseworker.
